Dry Socket?

So I had all four of my wisdom teeth out on Friday. I was pain free up until today. The tooth on my lower right jaw was lying in my mouth sideways and this is where the pain is. It's not unbearable pain but it's definitely there. All of the other teeth/sockets are fine.

I'm just unsure if it's dry socket or is my lower right jaw just sore because it was a more complicated extraction due to the sideways tooth. Also, after my surgery I was really thirsty and when I got home my mum gave me a glass of water with a straw because my mouth was numb. Even though I had been told not to drink out of a straw I was still too out of it from the sedation to realise what I was doing. I only had a couple of sips but would this be enough to cause dry socket? Just a bit worried because the pain is actually in my other teeth and jaw. I stopped taking diphene today because it wasn't treating my digestive system very well so I'm wondering if this could be why it's getting sore after having no real pain the past few days?

If you can eat it's not a dry socket I had one after wisdom tooth extraction and it is unbearable. Best thing was an ice pack. Try paracetamol but be careful not to take to much. The diphine is the best thing though take ut with food or get lowsac

Yep drysocket is pretty excruciating pain, you'd know if you had it.

Turns out I did have dry socket. Went to the dentist and he cleaned me out, put me on a load of anti-biotics and gave me a syringe and told me to rinse out the socket with corsodyl. There was a vast improvement even over 2 days and I'm back to normal now.
