    Hi need some advice. Looking around for a 5 door hatch back. Not too high mileage from 2008 on. Have seen a few - corsa Suzuki swift, fiesta. Not sure what to go with. Want reliability but not sure how to differentiate from the above

    It'd be Swift>Fiesta>Corsa for me anyway.
    Assuming you're looking at petrols.

    Have you considered a Yaris?

    Do you reckon a yaris would be better, more reliable than the above 3. I know toyotas are meant to be well built etc

    Yeah, they're generally good.
    Not overly refined engine wise, but they're cheap to tax and cheap to service.

    I wouldn't bother with a second generation Yaris, they have a very cheap feel about them, nowhere near as good as the first generation model. I would rate a Fiesta or Swift above them.

    Current model Fiesta is within budget:
