Hippy movie about Jesus(Not JCS)

Posting in the hope that this might jog someones memory.I remember when I was very young seeing this thing on the telly on RTE where a bunch of hippyish types reinact the story of Jesus and in particular the crucifiction.It was in a modern setting in an American urban enviroment and in modern dress(Ie 70's)Now I know everyone is going to say its the movie of Jesus Christ Superstar but I'm 100% sure its not as I've seen that also.Jesus was played by this guy with a big bubbleperm afro and looked a bit like Art Garfunkel or Leo Sayer.I think it might have been a musical because when they were showing him on the cross he was kind of half singing / half speaking this line that went "Lord I'm bleeding" .Its been bugging me for years to know what it was.

Sounds a lot like "Godspell" to me. From 1973.

At work at the moment so I've only had a brief glimpse through it but it looks familiar allright.I'll have a proper look when I get home.

You're right it was Godspell all right nice one,theres some shorter clips on Youtube ,this is the crucifiction scene.Come to think of it the actor playing Jesus looks more than a little like Ronald McDonald.
