docking station for a dell studio 17

    Hi all
    Can I get a docking station for the above laptop.

    About 2 years ago I did this to my laptop

    I continued using this pressure pad (on the right) to turn it on

    eventually this (of course) broke And I got it repaired by a friend (who does this sort of thing) but it cost more than I'd like in time and money to repair it. it now has broken again. I recently saw a docking station for a dell adverts with a power button.

    My Question is this does a docking Station Exist For a Dell Studio 17 and does it have a power button that would allow me to turn on a laptop with the above described problem?

    Edit I did find the power switch on amazon. How much of a nightmare would it be to fix it myself?

    My searches today seem to indicate there is no docking station I have managed to buy the faulty part and there is a guide on the dell website on how to change it. It seems easy enough but will require me to take the laptop apart :eek: .
