    Hello,

I have got a quote from bord gais of €250 to connect my house to the gas mains on the street outside my house. That's grand.

My house is currently heated on oil. I will need a new gas boiler and everything plumbed etc to get it working. Its a 3 bed semi with 7 rads.

Anyone give me a ball park figure on what I can expect to pay?

    Thanks,

Won't be less than 3500 and not more than 5

so for a new boiler basically, and a conversion from oil to gas, it costs at least 3500?

a boiler costs a grand......whats the rest for?

That was more of a piece of string answer.

Plumbing for one. Installation labour and the Gas mains ends at your front door. Has to be brought into the house by your contractor after that.

Call somebody out and get a quote.

    Thanks Guys,

I understand that I'll need to get a qoute for a concrete figure. Just looking for ball park answers if anyone has had any experience doing it. €250 as I said for Bord gais to bring it up to door. Obviously need the boiler and plumbing work done by an RGI.

    Thanks
