How realistic am I being about projectors...

    Hey guys and gals,

Thinking of getting my brother a projector for Xmas. It would be mainly used to hook up from his laptop and show videos from the net, play games, etc. The main problem I see though is that it's probably going to be set up in a bedroom which isn't massive, AND I'm not working on a massive budget either.

How realistic would it be to search for a good projector for around €250? Have a feeling I won't be getting a great one for that, based on what I've read?

Ideally, I guess what I'd hope for is something quite portable that he can just hook up to his laptop and have the laptop screen project onto a bigger screen. There's going to be natural light in the room too (I think that affects it in terms of picture quality). Is there any recommendations like that?

Or am I stretching ideas too far with not enough cash to do it any form of justice?
