Who best to use as reference?!

Hi, would really appreciate some advice!
I have just been offered a job (yay!), been given conditional offer letter, contract and start date. They still need a list of references and have asked to provide the names of two referees, one from my current employer.

What I was wondering was is it ok to provide both references from my current employment? Both my current and previous manager have enthusiastically agreed to write me a reference, however I wonder does it look bad that they are both from the same company?
The area I work in has a very high turnover, so I have only worked with them for 6 months each, however I know they would both give me a great reference.

My only previous job was for 5 months in Scotland, and I know the company there has a policy of only providing "HR references" so I am tempted not to include them, and just provide the names of managers from my current job, does this look bad? Grateful for any thoughts!:)

You could get a reference from an old teacher/principal/lecturer. "HR references" does not sound too bad though.
