Hi All, the local hardware store have a Dimplex 8kw stove on offer for 499, on presentation of your ESB MPRN number. Not sure why they need that..

anyhow, I was more concerned over the quality of the stove. The handle seems to be made of stainless and is not that long compared to the Stanley handles and hinges that are more clunky. The Dimplex seems to have lighter casting also.

Does anyone have one of these Dimplax non-boiler stove and have any good/bad experiences? thanks.
