Hi everyone,I was washing out my RSST & the isolator on the positive post which is on the deck just below the spring has decided to take a journey down the plug hole, what a bummer:mad::mad:
Any of you guys have any broken rsst's sitting around & would sell/swap for this small part.

Oh you dipstick :-) .If you're lucky it might still be in the trap (u bend) under the sink.

Thanks for replying,I don't know about looking in the bend Mr.Chrome but it surely drives me round it...LOL
I'm afraid that my arthritis stops me from looking in these places, just hope there is somebody out there that has a busted rsst,if nothing turns up,then I'll offer my rsst to someone who needs parts.

If you have no luck here try contacting the vendor you bought it from. Sometimes they have spares.
Someone else here did the exact same thing not so long ago!

I'll try that,I must check back in my records & find out where I bought it....thanks

Can you find a photo of the part you need? I have a heap of bits and pieces from various atties so may have something suitable.

Ha, so it's not just me then:)

Depeatrick solved the problem for me with a clever suggestion, do you have any old T3 heads lying around? Check out this thread, it should point you in the right direction if you can't find the original piece...

Kinda funny but after having that conversation with Rickyjb I had to do some work on my sink which included removing the u-bend.......

I doubt very much if I would ever use a part that had sat in the mess of gunk that was in the u-bend and this was helped by a small paintbrush that went missing about 15 -20 years ago......It was handmade with kolinsky sable....and rotted beyond use.....I must have searched for weeks for same brush...they usually last a lifetime....

Since then I have taken to using one of these:

I picked up a set of three sizes and all ya have to do is put parts into sieve and rinse and repeat, I stick the small sieve in a stainless steel jug if I want to soak overnight.

Great minds think alike. I have one of those ball - type tea strainers for washing all the fiddly bits.

Cone shaped ones turned up in one of the German supermarkets, can't remember which! Even better than the ball shaped ones, ya can swish them around with no fear of them falling out.....:)

A tea strainer is already on my Xmas list:):D the isolator from the T3 worked a treat,it was tight to screw it onto the positive post but that is an advantage,I wont lose it again.
I normally build sub Ohms but this time on the rsst, I did a 7 wrap micro coil with cotton balls & it worked out at 1.5 Ohms, terrific vape using cotton & it wicks superbly.

Thanks again Guys, you have made me a very happy member :D:D:D
I hope I can get a chance to return the favor.

Thanks ghogie91,It would be much appreciated if you can get the correct part,I have checked online & the few spares I have seen doesn't come with that isolator.Maybe more spares are given for the RSST from different manufacturers.
