Hi, I'm looking for any advice/ opinions on whether I should buy an android phone or ipod touch. My daughters 11th birthday is coming up and I know she would love something that she can download music to, that also gives her access to a games store for downloading and playing games. She already has a kids Nabi Android tablet. As the Apple ipod touch is quite expensive, I tried to look out for alternatives on the market but I haven't found any! Would an android phone be a suitable alternative?
I don't even own an Android phone myself so I'd be grateful for any advice...

Yes, Android would be an option, but you would be paying for the phone side of it too. Cheaper Android phones lack the power to run some games.
