    Hi All,

I Currently drive a 2005 Fiesta that needs some work done that will cost me about 300-400 euro, needs its NCT too. Rather than get the car fixed I'm looking to get a new one and possibly trade this one in.

Do Cars generally have to be in perfect condition when trading in?

Does anybody know of any decent garages for trade ins around North Dublin?

I'm not looking to spend any more than €2000 on my next car.

    Cheers

Why not just spend the €300 on the car rather than €2,000 on a new car?

    What does your car need?

With a small budget of €2k along with your Fiesta it is very unlikely you will gain any advantage by trading up to another car. Better off with the devil you know and get the Fiesta fixed and through the NCT. Either that or consider upping your budget. Also the Fiesta in it's current condition and with no NCT will be worth less than a similar car with no problems and a fresh NCT.
