Can anyone recommend some really good quality black leggings? I need them for work for some dress tops that are too short for tights. My work us reasonably formal so semi see-through leggings are a big no no! Thanks.

I'm not usually a wearer of leggings as I hate the "see through" type that seem to be available in Penny's, Newlook etc.
I took a chance and bought some (slightly more expensive ones) from Next and they were also brutal.
    Then I found these....

They were €20 at the time, I bought the petites, andI haven't looked back. Fantastic quality, keep their shape and stretch, and have a great double panel over the tummy area.
I would recommend trying your usual size and one size down then keep whichever fits best. I'm a small 12, and I got the 12. Which although are fine, I imagine if I had gone down a size, I'd get the benefit of the "hold you in-ness"
I'll probably try another pair soon.

H&M normally have ones for 9.95, thick material. Just black, sometimes grey

I was going to say H&M, not even slightly see through, really thick and different lengths from short to extra long.

Tried h&m but with black boots they sometimes look a horrible black colour. They were hrabd eith brown boots though. Will definitely try the littlewoods ones. Thanks!

I got a nice thick firm pair in black from pull and bear and love them.

The ones from miss selfridge are not bad either although they do eventually go baggy
