I have unruly curly hair, and find it hard to style. It's quite thick, and often needs to be slept on before it will remain calm!
Can anyone recommend tutorials for blow drying hair that would mean I could do it in less than 30mins?

It sounds like we are hair twins!! I don't know any tutorials but I will tell you what I do! Shampoo and leave a conditioner in for hours, like a good 4 if possible, rinse and towel dry, spray in a leave in conditioner and add some argan oil (eg Morrocan oil etc). A good hairdryer is a must just as important as ghds. I have a parlux which is 6 years old and still going strong and I use a round brush. I blast dry all over and then do it in sections rolling it up and down big round brush. When whole head is done I run the ghds over it. It takes max 45 mins in total and my hair is crazy thick. I think if you try and blow dry properly you get a much better and smoother finish :)
