Help with Mazda 6 in mid-west

Can anybody recommend a good mechanic in the mid- west area that might be able to help me with my Mazda 6
    It is a 2009 diesel 2 litre.
The engine light keeps going on and off, especially in 6th gear or when there is heavy rain
My usual mechanic who services it says that the turbo could go at any time. It does not seem to be loosing power though. Sometimes it "chugs" a lot when in 4th gear
Any help advice would be appreciated

You need a diagnostics kit connected to see the error to be sure.

Not so much looking for ideas about what might be wrong with the car, more looking for a recommendation for a good mazda mechanic in the mid west. Basically a mazda equivalent of Bavarian Auto Technik that are based in Abbeyfeale

Doubt you will find a dedicated Mazda mechanic outside of the main dealer network, just not enough Mazdas sold to be trying to make a living just from them alone.

I've had a few good experiences with what used to be the Main Mazda dealer in Sligo, they lost the dealership but if I still had a Mazda, that's where I'd be heading.

Mike O'Dwyer Motors on the Dock Road in Limerick used to be main Mazda dealers, may still have Mazda mechanics working for them.

Mike O Dwyer two main mechanics are not working for them anymore.
They opened their own garage around 2 years ago and they are located on Henry Street just opposite the Nolan Motor Factors and it's called Car Clinic.
Main two guys are called Carlos and Sebastian as far as I remember.
I presume they would be the best place to go when it comes to Mazda's since they used to work in Mazda Dealership.
