well there is a proper grinder for the mixer run off a pto but the gear box is gone, but it is repairable, it used to all connected up, we had a two tonne hopper with the barley augered into it, the grain fed into the grinder from the hopper and straight into the mixer and ye put in your soya and your pulp or what ever. We bought the roller to replace the grinder but its not the same.
The way the mixer works is it has a big vertical auger in it, you put your grain in top and then you put your other straights in at the bottom, if there in bags, the auger pulls, say soya up and throws it out up on the top barley and then this feeds down to tge bottom and up top again and throws it our. Very simple system
