I am on JSA and living alone. My step son wants to stay with me . He is a student and has a part time job of 8K per year . I called the welfare and they said they would reduce my allowance if he lives with me. In reality he would cost me more on electricity and heating ! What mystifies me is that if he were on JSA at 100…

What mystifies me is that if he were on JSA at 100 euro per week 20 euro more than his job my allowance would not be cut. ??
