Indesit Dishwasher IDL 530 Overheating

    Hi

Anyone have any advice as to why an Indesit IDL 530 might overheat?
Few days ago there was evidence that the cutlery "burned" or "scorched" the cutlery holder in a few places - presumably to its getting too hot. Machine running fine otherwise - no warning lights.

The machine runs off the hot water supply. Manual says that this water should not exceed 60 degree C - don't know how hot my water supply is - there is a possibility that it might have exceded 60 DegC - but is it possible that the machine might be "confused" or "act up" if the water exceeds this 60 figure - perhaps its software program might not be able to "cope" with this situation?

Looked into front panel electronics - no obvious connection problems or issues.

    Thanks in advance,

    Aidan :(

it supposed to run off the cold supply..........then it heats the water to whatever setting you set on the button.

Could it be the drying cycle (if there is one) is doing the burning?
