Groups to get involved in, Carlow Area

    Hey guys, this might be a rant/long post, but will keep it quick lol

    I am wondering if there are any groups in or around Carlow I could get involved in...

    The reason is that having come back to Carlow, I have found it REALLY hard to make friends. This is due to the friends I had moving away, as well as my own social awkwardness. In Scotland, I had a boyfriend for a period of time, but it was a poor match if I am honest, and it inevitably ended badly. I arrived home in August 2012 and spent a year on the dole before getting back into education.

    During that time, I didnt socialise, and I certainly didnt go looking for romance...

    Now, after having been shot down by the first guy I have asked out in nearly 2 years I am realising I need to be getting out and socialising more...

    Anyone know of any groups I could get involved in?

    LGBT groups?

    Not really much in Carlow that I know of

    IT Carlow has an lgbt society

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
