    Hey all,

don't know if this is the right spot but I'm wondering how my brother in Australia can renew his driver's license - do the new regulations mean he can only renew it in person?

I have tried to look this up but the information isn't clear.

    Thanks

Yes it has to be in person but why the rush? You have 10 years to renew a licence from date of expiration.

He'll need it if he's driving on his Irish licence as a temporary visitor, or if he's planning on exchanging it for an Australian one.
