Hi, calling any education staff who will know the answer to this question. I am working as an sna in a lovely primary school in Dublin and love it. I found out today I will be going from 12.5 hours a week to full time hours I think around 27 hours a week. The principal mentioned I will have a new contract and start my new hours on Monday. My question is will I be paid for my holidays as a full time sna now or because my new contract wil start after November 1st wil I just receive my part time rate or even worse nothing! A bit worried can anyone clear this up for me?

    Hey

My girlfriend has moved to dublin from donegal and she just finished her FETAC Level 5 in Special Needs Assistant. I was wondering if you could tell me how you started out looking for jobs and if you can give me as much information as possible on how you got the job. It would be a great help.

    Thanks

Hi I used the site educationposts.ie. it is a bit of a long process because they ask you to apply in different ways eg. Post, email etc and with different forms. I applied for a lot of jobs b4 I got a call back as I had no experience. I had to do unpaid work experience to get my foot in the door
