Vista updates

Is there a way to stop Vista restarting automatically after it has downloaded updates, without disabling auto updates? I usually hibernate at night, this morning turned it on and it restarted by itself, losing my place in a document I was reading. No data lost, but annoying.

I want it to be updated but I don't want it rebooting just when it feels like it, when there's something running I don't want to stop.

My approach would do the same, after all you can pick and choose when to update (albeit with a nagging icon in the bottom toolbar!)

I normally set it to automatically download but prompt to install. That way, you can install the updates when it suits you.
