I got my eyes tested today for the first time since I was a pre-pubescent and here is my prescription:

Any advice on what laser eye clinic I should visit and does this clinic allow a discount for medical card holders?

Any opticians will have glasses for you its down to personal taste what ones you choose the medical card entitles you to a free pair of glasses from a selected range or around €42.00off a more expensive pair.

Sorry, I actually meant for laser eye surgery. I'm picking up my glasses tomorrow.

How old are you? If that's your first prescription and you're young i'd wait a while to see if it's stable. It's quite low at the moment.

I'm 27 and yeah, it's my first - I was surprised at how low it was, I though my eyesight was brutal because I've needed glasses since I was 14 and I get headaches when I focus my eyes on TVs or computer screens for too long.

Well usually you gotta show a stable prescription for at least a year which won't be possible for you for another year obviously. Very unusual to be getting your first prescription at this age. No harm going to talk to them though.
