Denied job seekers, looking for assistance

Hi guys I recently reduced my hours in work to 16hours per week as I mind my daughter 3 days per week. Naturally I was refused job seekers based on the fact that I'm not available for full time work. My question is in relation to what my options would be if I were to leave my job. I get 160 euro per week with my job, less than the social. I spend a lot each week on travel expenses and lunch ect. And its not financially viable to keep this up.

I'm fully aware that its ridiculous to give up the job in hopes to get the social but they offer many courses I would be interested in like graphic design and web design which I'm not eligible for because I'm not in receipt of any payments. I would also be interested in their start your own business courses as I want to start offering my services to do motion graphics and videography which if studied for a few years.

But seeing as I got refused, does that mean I'm disqualified for good or is it temporary?

    Thanks

If you give up your job completely you will still not be eligible for anything almost definitlely for at least 9 weeks, possibly longer, unless you can prove you are available for work.
If you are needed at home to mind your daughter to the extent that you can only work 16 hours per week, how are you going to complete a course of study?
    Are you a lone parent?
If not what are your domestic arrangements?

Thanks for your reply. As of now, no I wouldn't be able to conduct a full course. But as of January my mother will be getting her own apartment and she agreed to mind the baby each week which would allow me to carry out a course. Right now I live in rented accommodation with two friends and I have my daughter Monday Tuesday and Wednesday till the afternoon
