Currently looking at the 2 phones above for my OH. She's doesn't have a smartphone at the moment. They both have fairly similar specs but the Huawei has a bigger screen appears to have better display. I'll be buying unlocked so I can get Huawei for €139 or Samsung for €129. I see that Meteor have a Huawei on PAYG for €70 but I'm not sure about going through all the hassle of trying to get it unlocked.
Any opinions?

Don't know anything about the Fame, but I have the Y 300. Lovely phone. You can get it unlocked from Amazon.de for €99.00 + about €5.00 carriage. No provider bloatware on it.
