    Hi folks..
I need some budget ideas to create a white backdrop for taking some product type images.. I have a nice wall at home with loads of natural light. I'm looking for ideas for a white backdrop... 1.5m sq would be fine as the products aren't that big...
I'm not able to change the wall colour either :(

I've used a slightly off white fleece blanket in the past which has worked well, this helped reduce reflections on flat painted surfaces as well as having a soft texture. Hickeys fabric sell it for about €10 a sq. meter off the roll if I recollect.

I picked up a cheap background set from Amazon. It's not the best if you want the infinite white effect, but it's great for the more textured/shaded white that I personally prefer.

    The Frame is Here

    Backdrop is Here

The Backdrop does take a good bit of de-creasing, but for the price, it's working perfect for me.

I bought a couple of these a few months back and I really would not recommend them. Very poor quality. The white one in particular is far from being a pure white and is actually a bit translucent.

My recommendation would be to just get one of the small 1.38m x 11m rolls of paper by Savage or similar. It's still affordable (under €50 depending on where you buy) and will last ages if all you're using it for is product/tabletop stuff.

If you have an off camera flash you should be able to 'blow out' almost any light coloured wall.

Plenty of videos on Youtube on the subject.
