Native irish sheep breeds?

Was looking at some of the Native Irish Cattle breeds
Dexter, Kerry, Moiled and Droimeann.

Got me wondering do we have any native sheep breeds?

The Galway is the only one left I think, think the Lleyn has background of Irish breeding too......

Thanks Cran forgot the Galway. Lowland ewe mainly, so don't think it will suit me

Thanks Razor, exactly what I was looking for.

Pity these breeds have vanished, would have loved to thse what native sheep looked like in the Kerry Hills all those years ago.

Saw somewhere online that the native Irish hill breed were tight wool sheep. circa 1600's.

Anyone heard of the Cladoir sheep? I wonder do they still exist in isolated spots along the Atlantic Seaboard.

There is a programe being run at the minute to save the roscommon sheep only 25 breeding ewes left so being split into 5 flocks to save them,
