Change bath taps to mixer?

Hi, I use the bath as a shower - have hose/shower head attached to taps. See image below

I'd like something a bit more convenient to use, like a mixer tap, that is easy to turn on and off. I tend to leave this running the whole time I'm showering as it takes to long to turn off, and then turn on and get the right temperature again. A waster of water! Any suggestions, I am looking for something that's not too costly.

I'm looking for a similar set of taps myself...
In your case, probably a lever type shut off rather than the swindle type in the photo.

I did have a look at the b&q site earlier and the lower end prices was around £70. I'll check in store over the weekend.
