Scrapping Car?

    Have a car to scrap.

    It is a 00 Opel Astra with 135K miles on it. Would cost around 1K to get it back on the road.


    What is the process and is there any cost.

    look up the adds in the advertiser there are always ads to buy any car running or not but make sure you get proof that the car will be scrapped and an end of life certificate or you change the ownership into the other persons name.

    these guys are all above board will pick up the car and give you a cert to say it is destroyed but not sure if they are paying anything for cars where someone on donedeal or in the advertiser may give you a few euro but not issue a cert so you will have to go through sending off the log book to change ownership
