Late Tax Payment - will there be a fine ?

    I understand that today is the last day for ROS tax filing for 2012.

    Organised a last minute (as usual) filing of tax and payment today.
    Unfortunately the account details that I gave don't have enough funds in to cover the payment.

    Will I be looking at a late payment fine do you think ?
    Or can the accountant simply put through the payment tomorrow ?

    Money prob' won't be taken for a few days so transfer funds to account you gave to Rev'.

    Alternatively do what you suggested and Rev' should be ok with the explanation.
