Maruzen Aps-2 LRV (Faulty)

    Hey guys,
So here it is... My previous pride and joy...
I have this once beautiful piece up for grabs. Maruzen rifles are quite rare, as they make them in batches. I bought this one a couple of months back, in usable condition. However, it quickly broke as the trigger sear inside snapped. I have the replacement trigger sear installed, a reinforced guarder stainless steel one, however the actual trigger much isn't assembled correctly, as I forgot entirely how to reassemble it!
Because of this, it is being sold/traded as *NON-WORKING*
They say honesty is the best policy, and so I'm going to be blunt here:
This gun isn't in perfect condition. It has the potential to be an incredible RIF, but at the moment it seems to be dying...
-The cylinder pull back seems to be very jerky and stiff at times
-The trigger mech isn't assembled correctly
-The cylinder has a good few scratches

Other than this, I love this gun.
Firstly, it has an insanely long barrel on it!
    The positives:
-Guarder reinforced trigger parts (brand new, days old!)
-Laylax PSS2 Aero Cylinder Head with dampener
    -PDI Hop Up chamber
-Relatively unused hop up rubber, installed a while back but due to the gun breaking, I never really used it!
    -Harris clone bipod
    -Custom Camo
    -6.03 TBB

What will you achieve by upgrading this? Well, its simple really, this is an incredible rifle if you're going to gut it and replace every part in it. Parts for this gun are more readily available than even the TM Vsr! If you have the time and patience to really care for this rifle, you will not be dissappointed! Read the reviews lads! This is the Long Range Version with a longer barrel.

    Price: €160
    Fps: 280

In case any complaints are made on this price for a (broken) rifle, just consider the price of the gun NEW, the upgrades (around 150eur worth, if not more) and that a silencer will also be included with the asking price!
Trades I will be interested in: AEGs, sniper rifles, anything really
Thanks lads, any questions, ask away :)

Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but, I think I see a problem with your trigger box in your pics... A part maybe not in correctly.. The small silver part to the front in at wrong angle..? Look at the angle of the one in this pic..

Sorry, didn't see this! Completely forgot about this thread to be honest!
I have tried countless images online of the trigger mech, just don't seem to be able to fix it!
I don't notice any difference in the picture you posted and mine either, sorry :P
    Thanks for the help :)

    hey
    Im interested in it
Can you ship it to Spain? I live in Zamora)
If yes, i wanted to know how much it cost the shippment, i dont need express shipping like UPS or FEDEX, i "prefer" royal mail or something more cheaper, but if you have a better idea

specifying... the rifle is non-working, i know, i want it to upgrade, but for now, i will only upgrade the essential parts to make a "working-rifle", but my english is not so good, so... what parts would i have to improve to make it work?

    Thanks for all

    Regards

    Hey
I'd say I'll be able to ship to Spain alright, but it may cost around 40-50eur using An Post (Irish Postal Service)

(Read the last sentence if you're not bothered with my thoughts :P , it'll answer the question)
As for the upgrades... It depends how much you want to spend really, if you got the trigger mech working 100%, it would last a good while, even with a stronger spring due to the new sears..
The cylinder has a few scratches on it, but I can't say for sure if that's the cause of the jerkiness , it's not entirely the cylinder head either because adding the new cylinder head did nothing to remove the jerkiness..
So I'm going to put it down to maybe polishing the chamber, the cylinder, filing any jutting out parts, and generally taking care of the whole cylinder area.

    Any other questions, ask away!

    Thanks :)

First, i mean that if i buy all the laylax parts, can i play with it? i dont want to buy maruzen parts, because there are not maruzen parts to buy.
Second, if you tell me how exactly the shipping costs, I would appreciate you (my postal code is 49150)

The only real parts there are to be upgraded are Laylax piston, spring guide, maybe spring, and if you're willing to spend that bit extra, a Teflon cylinder and zero trigger :)
They're all the upgrades you can nearly possibly put into it, bar external upgrades!
I'll get back to you later today on the cost of postage.
    Thanks :)

    Hey mate,
According to the online postage calculator, postage is 55eur..
    Cheers

You shouldn't have any problems with customs whatsoever, as its coming from the EU, custom's charges generally don't apply (look it up to be certain)
I will accept 200eur for it, if that's what you're offering?
    Thanks

interesting, but i think that for me is the point 4, not 5, and it says that VAT will be applied, and here is 21%
I've never bought anything in England, so here this is new for me

Apologies, meant to say point 4!
I could be wrong, but this is a parcel, not an item bought from a business, so no vat should apply whatsoever, also it says that this vat is normally included in the price of the goods, when buying off a shop, etc :)
Customs shouldn't charge you anything at all!
    Any more questions?
    Cheers :)

Ps: This is from Ireland, not England :P

Sure get back to me about it :)
Just to let you know, I'd accept the 200 for it posted, and I'll pay the postage difference if its anything over that..
Parts are expensive... Isn't that just airsoft :P
Anyway, in case you want to upgrade to a zero trigger , this one is quite cheap (well for a z trigger that is!)

Yeah, I'd accept 200 shipped for it!
I'm afraid I can't include the silencer any longer, as its currently in use! It has standard threads on the end of the barrel so getting a new one shouldnt be a problem :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12 Mikharojas

not worry about the silencer... i have my own one, i prefer all the other parts :)
and how would we do it?

Great, the other parts will be included of course (not the scope, again, in use)
I'll check out our options, but my best bet would be through the Irish postal service, which will deliver it to you?
    Thanks :)

I'm a little confused ... What thing is not included? Silencer or scope?
Hmmmm, I would need to know the weight of the package and the measuraments, because sometimes transportation agencies use the "volumetric weight"...

Apologies, should have made that clearer, neither the silencer nor the scope are included, as they are both being used elsewhere!
I'll get it all wrapped up, etc, and then give you the details, as I realise some companies use volumetric weight.
If I'm not using An Post, it'll probably be DPD couriers!

    Have you got PayPal?

Yes, i have paypal acount, i can do the payment by that way, is more secure for both
Can you make an informative letter with your personal data, and which is included in the package (you should writte "toy parts used") and the total price (19.00 €, thus, if the package is stopped at customs, I have more possibilities receiving the package without paying more)
    Do you understand?
