I will be looking out for a feed for Ireland Latvia, only coverage listed is on Sky Sports 4.

If there is none, there are some other matches possibly worth watching. England Chile and Italy Germany friendlies. And the qualifier playoffs between France Ukraine, Portugal Sweden and Romania Greece. All listed FTA on various satellites.

    Should be 15th.

The Ireland Latvia feed is on 23.5 East but in 4:2:2. I can see it on my AzBox strong signal.

    Frequency: 11460 - Pol: V - SR: 6110 - FEC: -

    Category: Sport - Football

    Transmitted in: MPEG-2 4:2:2

Comments: Ireland v Latvia (S2) RTE feed

Is it just me or does Satelliweb leave out a lot of the required information for tuning. An example is this; what is the FEC? What about QPSK settings etc?
Mind you, there its a good chance I am doing something stupid, but I spend ages going through each FEC, say, until I get the correct one!

Most receivers tune in the signal automatically but then there is no way of knowing the FEC. With the AzBox you have to select the correct FEC and Pilot On or Off. With the original firmware this wasn't so bad as you just cycle through the various FEC Pilot On / Pilot Off combinations until you see the signal bar appearing.

With Enigma 2, unless I am missing something, you have to do a scan with each combination until you find the signal which is very time consuming. Fortunately FEC 3/4 Pilot On is the most common combination and that is what it is for this feed. When I post on Satelliweb, which isn't very often, I include this information.

    Not just you.

I guess they assume everyone is blind scanning.
