Reversed into a car at slow speed - what should I do?

Hi guys, I misfortunately reversed into a stopped car at a parking lot.

The speed of impact was very slow, maybe 2mph.

The driver got out, assessed the damage (his door was already banged up pretty well so he didn't notice anything), told me it was fine and we were on our way.

Can he do anything, as in call the guards and tell them it was a hit and run? We didn't exchange any details...

THis happened me once at a traffic lights, I drove into their bumper at about that speed, guy jumped out, had a look said it was fine and drove off.

    Never heard anything further tbh.

Depends on the other driver but I'd say it's unlikely you'll hear anything further

Safe enough I would say. If you did not exchange details then I doubt they will come back to you. It happened to me before and I did the same thing as the person you hit and I just let it go as there was no damage.

Unless he wrote down your reg number i wouldn't be too worried.

Not a hit and run anyway as you stopped and got out.
