Don't have one here but often thought they would be handy to store meal close to a group of animals you are feeding. Would save always having to go to the yard to collect the ration and save a fair wack of time and hassle transporting ration IMO.

We're it falls down is in size. Min load from the miller is 3 if not 4 ton and the jfc yoke is only just over half a ton so you can't avoid having a meal store using the jfc. Unless you can collect the feed in the jfc yourself all the time?

I have 2 of the 1/2 ton and they hold about 650kg each

shocking handy. I gave €200 for each in the north 2 years ago.

Do the meal bins come in smaller sizes?
1/2 tonne size would be too big. A neighbour uses a wheelie bin and brings it to co-op in a trailer and gets it filled.

I have the the jfc one and it fits nearly 750kgs in nuts. Only issue is that it's a fair reach to the bottom when it's nearly empty. Great yolk for collection and storage of nuts though.

get yourself a meal scoop for about €8. an exta 18inch reach and file a 5 gallon bucket in 5 scoops
