The new Yahoo home page

Does anyone use yahoo as their home page?

On Tuesday, I got stuck with the "New Yahoo" format. What a shocking piece of work with no provision (that I could find) to set it up as I like. There are many things that I don't want - can't get red of. I can't change the colour scheme.

What a load of c**P for what was meant to be an improvement.

What does anyone use as a home page?

I haven't used Yahoo since the late 90s. Didn't know anyone outside of Japan was still using it all that much!

I thought Hector Ó Heochagain was the only one still using Yahoo?

I use the yahoo.co.uk page rather than the Irish page. But it is so bad, I want to change my home page.

I don't see anything mentioning Yahoo! on my Google.ie homepage.

I'm an altavista man myself. It's the fastest loading on my slick new ISDN line.

bbc.co.uk for my home page. Use yahoo mail, but only for signing up to web services, on line shoping, etc.

yeah the new design is pretty bad. they messed with the email design recently too. The business plan is obviously designed to drive people away.

I use it too. The changes are a minor inconvenience. Im sure we'll both be used to it by next week. Didn't think it needed a change really but its my own fault for not taking over the company and replacing everybody with people who hate change as much as I do.

But the google.ie only provides a search bar - not very interesting. How about some news headlines - sport headlines etc.

I google everything I need to know through Yahoo, just like Colm Meaney.
