    WWE SmackDown:

    - The main event of this week's edition of WWE SmackDown was announced to be CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel.

    - The Wyatt Family def. The Usos via pinfall. The finish came when Luke Harper scored the pin on Jey Uso for the victory.

After the match, Bray Wyatt hit his Sister Abigail finisher Uso. Bray followed that up by cutting a promo on CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who will be the Survivor Series opponents of his Wyatt Family members.

    - Backstage, Curtis Axel and Ryback are shown talking. Ryback said he would not team up with Axel tonight if he is still a "Paul Heyman Guy." Axel tells Ryback that he isn't. The segment wrapped up with Axel telling Ryback that they should take their collected frustrations out on Punk and Bryan later tonight.

    - The Prime Time Players and R-Truth were shown backstage. All three guys were rapping together.

    - Natalya def. Tamina Snuka via submission. The finish came when Tamina accidentally collided with WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee on the apron, which led to Natalya catching her in the match-ending Sharpshooter.

    - The Prime Time Players & R-Truth def. 3MB Union Jacks via pinfall. The finish in this one came when Truth hit Heath Slater with his Lie Detector finisher. Titus O'Neil was super-over with the fans in Manchester throughout this entire match.

    - John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio in the Arm Wrestling Challenge. Cena actually had a great, mostly positive response from the fans in the Phones 4u Arena. Both guys cut promos regarding their upcoming match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Cena won the first Arm Wrestling Challenge in under a second, and followed that up by winning the Arm Wrestling Challenge immediate rematch just as fast. After the Arm Wrestling concluded, Del Rio attacked Cena. Despite trying to fight back, Cena ended up getting slammed through the Arm Wrestling table by Del Rio. After the beatdown, Del Rio laid his t-shirt across Cena's fallen body.

    - The Funkadactyls def. The Bella Twins in Divas tag-team action. This was likely filmed for the Total Divas reality show on E!. The finish here came when Cameron pinned Brie in a match that was kept relatively short.

    - Backstage, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan cut a promo on The Wyatt Family and their upcoming tag-team match against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 24th.

    - The Great Khali def. Hunico & Camacho in a Handicap Match. The finish came when Khali hit the Punjabi Plunge in what was a very quick match.

    - CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel ended in a No Contest. The finish came when Bryan had the "Yes! Lock" applied on Ryback, only to have interference from The Wyatt Family.

When the lights came back on, Punk and Bryan had mysteriously vanished. Ryback pushed Axel into The Wyatt Family, so they beat both of them down and threw them out of the ring and onto the floor. Then, from out of nowhere, Punk and Bryan re-emerged from under the ring. The two each landed a dropkick on Harper and Rowan and bailed out to the top of the ramp.

I thought Wade Barrett was suppose to be on SD this week with his new gimmick

I guess it was bad news for Barrett. Keep forgetting he exists.
Pity the Funkadactyls vs Bella`s was just for total divs.

If it was exclusively for the show then there's probably going to be some story or plot on an episode in the future that culminates in this match. There was a random match where The Usos tagged with the Bellas against Tonnes of Funk and Jimmy had a moment with Naomi - it made sense when the episode about their fight aired. The match from this week's episode (Natalya vs Naomi) was exclusively for the show as well

    Afterwards, Regal decked Cena.

Unfortunately they decided not to send the UK crowd home happy and had Cena come back and hit him with the AA. It was a dark segment in England. Why not let Regal go over?

All for the burying of Ryback but no need to take Axel with him. With the amount of good wrestlers being made look bad by putting a faction over who will eventually never amount to anything, the WWE are shooting themselves in the foot.

    Axel is a charisma vacuum.

Which was why him being with Heyman was a good fit. Heyman carries the feuds for the most part, Axel plays his part in putting on good matches. As opposed to the Wyatts who have ****e feuds (I mean what interesting has happened in the feuds with Kane/Punk/Bryan who have all been in some great feuds in the past) and put on ****e matches. The Wyatts are like Ryback where the only thing keeping any momentum going is WWE's insistence on pushing them at all costs.

You have a built in hatred for all things Ryback and Wyatt. You vent it at any and all chances. Surely the Wyatt vs Shield programme was interesting for the fleeting moments it happened? There's a seed sown there. I think it could good anyway. Don't write them off yet. At least they have characters.

What's Axel's character. What do we know about him. What has Axel done of note in his entire career? Has he ever excited anyone? He was a bit part in Nexus. Delivered possibly the worst promo of all time on NXT. The only cool thing he did was win the IC Title on Father's Day in front of a smark crowd. It's probably not Joe Hennig's fault but I just don't really care for him. I don't anything him. And l wanted to!

    Sorry I'm ranting :p

What was the delay with the Funkadactyls getting into the ring? I thought they were doing a HHH and waiting for a cue in the song but nope.

Lets be fair, I've never tried to deny that. I think they're absolutely terrible and find it frustrating that they consume so much of the airtime and opportunities. I don't know if Wyatts vs Shield is as interesting as much it is the case that anything the Shield do are interesting. **** Bryan, (I don't really mean this) the Shield are the best thing in WWE right now and could have elevated the Wyatts far better than Punk and Bryan, having said this that probably is the plan further down the line.

As for Axel, I don't think he is a great character, and is definitely not main event potential, but he is a good wrestler, and I think it is alot easier to work with a guy who wrestles well and looks the part, and find ways to develop character for them, then it is to try force guys who have slightly higher (but still nowhere near the really good guys) levels of charisma and shoddy in-ring talents (granted Harper isn't quite as bad as what we've seen from the other 2)

Wondering when they are actually going to make a card for Survivor Series rather than a Main Event that nobody cares about, a rematch from the last PPV and a Raw standard tag match.

Guess not anytime soon judging from this show.
