    Hi

I suffered a broken toe due to overcrowding at a yoga studio which impacted on me greatly. I instructed a solicitor to claim against this studio..After a long period passed, the studio closed down and she replied that the owner did not seem to have any insurance and was to claim against his business partner. She also was issueing court proceedings to the owner in which I signed an affidavit. Solicitor now gone on maternity leave and received a letter from the firm saying they do not wish to proceed with case.
Am I wasting my time...is there any other procedure when there is no insurance. On joining this studio I signed a form which was questions relating to fitness and health ie. heart problems etc which leads me to believe there was insurance.

I would have thought this was an indemnity.

No legal advice can be given on this forum anyway.

You could get a second opinion.

If the firm doesn't want to proceed with the claim, you could take up your file and bring it to another solicitor.

    Pay the solicitor up front
