Have had a wobbly lateral incisor since teens but now in my 40s very wobbly and beyond saving. My dentist feels crown only option as too much bone loss for an implant. Have appointment for implant periodontist in new year anyway. Anybody had successful implant after bone graft ?

Implants in Grafted bone are usually very successful. It's a common procedure, and no big deal. Success is totally dependant of the skill of the surgeon.
