    Hi Guys,

I realise that I'll probably get a hammering for this but here it goes ... Played a wedding recently and was asked to play an Irish Country set ... Declan Nearney etc .... Did a bit of scrambling and got through it with with a bit of Hills of Donegal / Saw Doctors etc but don't want to be caught on the hop again so looking for playlist suggestions. Any help much appreciated!

Oh man, that's a bad situation to get caught in. Luckily I have a couple of the Dance to Tipperary Compilations on my laptop so I can segue from 'Only Girl in the World' to a Hi-NRG version of 'The Fields of Athenry'. (Throwing in a couple of chants of 'Sinn Fein!' and 'IRA!' is optional. Real important to read the crowd in a situation like this. It could make you a hero or a zero!) They usually keep both crowds happy but like I always say: If you get stuck, get Thunderstruck! A bit of AC/DC will help get you out of the mud and into the good.

Cheer Kunst ... just checked them out on Spotify and they'll definitely get me out of a hole! Thunderstruck always works!
