goggles, tinted or non?

looking at buying a pair of swimming goggles just for dips in the sea. Was just gonna go for non-tinted but just wondering what the pros/cons of either might be?

Tinted would help you if the sun was in your eyes if your were sighting. But for dips as you say, clear would be grand.

I would recommend a pair of each in the same style.

The style of course is your preference and whatever fits you best but if it is a dull day when you get to your swim slip the clear ones on, if sunny then tinted.

It also gives the extra benefit of a backup pair if one brakes (or you forget them!!)

If you can, get both - tints and non-tints.
Swimming into the sun without tints makes sighting difficult while on the other hand, swimming in the dark with tints also makes it hard sighting.

I find the blue tint is a happy medium.

Elvery's have speedo swimmimng goggles at €11 the same ones are €22 in Lifestyle.
