I know Iam being a bit picky. But does it seem like every bloody advert on TV & Radio these days is voiced-over by Irish female actor Ruth McCabe(Damo &Ivors Granny, christie browns mother :) ). If its any thing to do with giving a sense of 'Irishness' her voice is on it.

You know, its the husky Irish woman voice in a Cork/Kerry Accent.

She does all the TG4, and now the Clonmel health care generic medicine radio advert.

It all sounds a bit cliche/leprecaun'ee to me.

She actually puts me off the product cos of her 'Irishy' Voice.

I think she is an excellent actor however, and very nice lady, but does her voice have to be on everything?

Hear her voice @ 57seconds on this clip

    heres her pic

It was Brenda Fricker who played Christy Brown's mother in My Left Foot, not Ruth McCabe.

Clonmel Healthcare will be delighted with the free publicity you're giving them.

    Bravo to their marketing department.

She was the ma in the snapper - when Colm Meany asks for a ride while she's knitting she say, when I finish this line
