Irish Tv/Radio Adverts Voice - Ruth Mc Cabe

12-11-2013 11:40pm#1I know Iam being a bit picky. But does it seem like every bloody advert on TV & Radio these days is voiced-over by Irish female actor Ruth McCabe(Damo &Ivors Granny, christie browns mother
). If its any thing to do with giving a sense of 'Irishness' her voice is on it.
You know, its the husky Irish woman voice in a Cork/Kerry Accent.
She does all the TG4, and now the Clonmel health care generic medicine radio advert.
It all sounds a bit cliche/leprecaun'ee to me.
She actually puts me off the product cos of her 'Irishy' Voice.
I think she is an excellent actor however, and very nice lady, but does her voice have to be on everything?
