I have an old HP 6510b laptop. I bought a 120gb Kingston ssd.
Im going to try install it to replace my hdd.
I know i wont get full advantage of it but it should be better than what i have now.
Do i need to change BIOS or leave it?
This is a pic from my device manager now with my hdd stil in.

Nothing needs changing, pop in the SSD - reinstall your OS and work away. You will see a massive improvement on any traditional laptop.
