Talking to women

    Howdy,

There's this girl at my college that I see every now and then. She seemed to look/slightly smile at me multiple times. Now I'm quite shy when it comes to speaking to women I'm attracted to, so I don't know how to go about this. I haven't actually talked to her but would like to. The root my issue is that I'm originally from Poland and even though I have been in Ireland for couple years, I still got the foreigner-accent and it makes me quite conscious about myself. I never really dated a girl here, so I'm not sure if it's even considered a normal thing to randomly talk to a girl in college. I'm not much of a party person, so honestly college would be one of the few opportunities I have at meeting/talking to girls.

    Any advices?

Go up & start a random conversation with her about something ye both have in common. Possibly something to do with college or the city your living in. See how it goes, if she responds well, see if she'd like to go for a cup of coffee sometime. Keep it casual, relax, talk slow, try & be a bit funny & charming if possible.

Honestly, don't worry about the accent thing. A friend of mine has been going out with a lovely guy from Poland for over a year, and I knew a Polish girl in college who never had any trouble landing guys.

Plus if she won't go out with you cos of that, there's a name for that.... And you'll be better off without her.

Good luck OP. You've nothing to lose and everything to gain :)
