Tbh, at 16 it won't be easy. Maybe check in local shops or chippies where you kinda know them a little?
Have a look at notice boards in shops if someone needs help with anything.

No one is going to hand you a job.

As a general life lesson, now is a good time to learn if you want something you have to go out there and make it happen. People who wait for handouts get nowhere in life.

The first thing you need to do is contact family members. Maybe one of them owns a business or works somewhere where they can give you a few hours on the weekend.

If that fails try your friend's parents.

After that you need to go from shop to shop, chipper to chipper, petrol station to petrol station, etc., asking the manager if she needs someone on the weekend.

It might be a good idea to type and print a letter which states you are looking for a job, and has your contact information.

Make sure you get your parents or a relative to help you with this.

    Good luck.
