Why would there be a limit? It's not like they are licensed

was just curious, i heard a fella had over 20 and they got confiscated, not sure if they were over the joule or not but just curious all the same

Maybe they were adapted or he was firing them at the public

They may have been over the limit or he may have been brandishing them in public. Or on the unlucky off chance that he was transporting them and he got pulled over and got his car searched. Either way there is no limit and no real reason for authorities to take them off you and if they do (which they have every right to as long as it's for chrono testing) they must be returned in the same condition as the were taken. If they come back in bits and broken then he can do something about it.

The only limit I'm aware of is finance, other than that, the sky is the limit ;)

What's the actual story to this

When i first started airsoft over a year ago, and uncle in law told me his mate had over 20 airsoft guns confiscated from him, and hes not one for bullshi**ing or anything like that, he never told me specifics, thats all i heard

Chap near me has 60+ :)

I'd reckon it's like the fireworks at Halloween, guards take them for themselves!
It'd kill me if I lost my guns to them for no good reason :(

Ive had gaurds come into the house and when they saw mine they took them, and the bb's would have been around this time last year in fact, took them said they are illegal and the likes, but i had only 2 guns at the time, and had only got one the week before and had all the reciepts and chrono readings, took them 3 weeks to bring the lot back, and when i did, they had the gun jammed up with a load of scratches and also the pistol came back with no mag, i was furious to say the least

It really is awful, how did they know about them? I've had a guard see my bag before and ask but never asked to see it etc.

They were in to search the house for my mams exs belongings and he strolled into my room and said they had to take them, then when i rang or dropped into the station they kept changing the topic
