Hand on Bach is dropped seriously in weight and a big run at 12/1 is expected today. Not if he jumps like that [did he ever see a fence before].

That horse probably has a stone in hand of the handicapper at present.

70% of the time my tips win all the time.

Just back Toby Lerone in the next at 2pm. Yes he's a short priced favourite, yes he's terribly unoriginal, but he's fairly certain to win if he just reproduces even 80% of his run at Southwell. Lingfield this time of year always favours real galloping National Hunt types and you don't get much better than Old Vic's who thrive in those conditions.

Tobey Lerone is a real good value short priced favourite.

Divers has his first run for Donald McCain in the 15:20 at sedgefield.

Very well handicapped off 130. Was 4th in the Byrne group plate at cheltenham off 142 last year.
McCain has been banging in the winners recently too.

I was kind of interested in silver roque here first time out(goes v.well fresh) but missed the price.

Gotta love that. Was looking at 5/1 last night after him being 8/1 and figured he would at least drift a little from 5/1.
Hindsight is great. But it is clear that I am a dumb ass!!!

    Yeah, you were right.
Divers never went a yard. He'll pop up sometime, but I'll probably have given up on him by then

Just been waiting on Hannah's Princess in the bumper.

She's another short priced favourite, but it's the only horse for the remainder of the day I'm confident about.

She's there to be shot at with the penalty, but I don't think any of her rivals can aim straight to shoot her!!!

Good tipping lad, even if all shortish. A winner's a winner. Three winners are three winners!

Yeah very happy with them. 14/1 treble. Some xmas presents bought from it, yeah right ha!

Why you not tip the treble if such confidence? Lol

Nothing stopping people backing the treble in single stakes by rolling winnings onto next bet.

That's what I do. Don't like backing trebles in one bet in case of non runners.

    Fair enough!

Sorry chaps I never even realised Amantius was running tonight.

Half the reason I didn't bother checking was he running is because I figured he'd be odds on next time he runs, but he's even money.

Absolutely fill your boots. He's a moody type of horse who Graham might need to waken up early enough in the race, but he's still really well handicapped.

    BACK THIS HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!

typical i miss the 3 winners, and lumped on , no where bad favourite

No idea what Graham Lee was doing there with a horse who likes to gallop. Clueless.

Ah well can't win them all. Still one to follow me thinks...

Don't give up on the horse. Your money is only lent on him.

He was given a terrible ride and should stay on the same mark. Don't give up on him mate. I have great belief in this horse in terms of winning money.

That makes sense ante post but not on the day, if you have 1 non runner its a double and you dont risk missing a race.

    Good work today btw

That's true, but I actually enjoy collecting the money three separate times rather than in one go. It's a personal habbit rather than sensible habbit.

that horse that won, was backed off the boards last time and finished 2nd... no mistakes today, easy winner he was.. bad day

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 352 ✭✭Go Native

I'd gladly take him on again with a better ride in a true run race. It was a very very messy race. Still following mine next time out. Money only lent on him.

I guess you lost all your winnings on the next horse. This is an incredibly bad way to bet.

I think you'll find you can't fit 4 horses into a treble mate. A treble is three selections.

Now that really would be a stupid way to bet.

An even better way to back horses is to pick a selection, miss the price, don't back it, and then watch it win by 16 lengths.

I would probably prefer to be honest then come onto some website bragging about a treble that is clearly after trimming! Nobody cares that you turned 1 euro into 14. ;-)

Did anyone see the 6.20 in Wolves? David Evans horse, Lager Time will surely bolt up soon if not next time. Was sluicing through late on but wasn't pushed at all.

'Technically' you didn't do a treble, as you didn't combine your 3 selections in one bet. Wasn't going to highlight it but your attempt to be smart kind of backfired on ya there, mate. :D

Didn't see the race today but saw on another forum this afternoon that connections didn't fancy him today but he runs again Saturday at Wolverhampton.
    Saturday is probably the day.

Technically it didn't , mate. I stated that you can't put four selections in a treble and that a treble is three selections, no more than that.

From what I saw of the race, today could have been the day if they'd wanted it. Into the tracker for Saturday it goes.

Well, you originally stated, post events, that you put the 3 selections in a (single bet) treble:
Yeah very happy with them. 14/1 treble. Some xmas presents bought from it, yeah right ha!

You then admitted to simply putting the winnings from one horse onto the next (nothing wrong with that) before getting ratty when somebody, naturally, questioned the ambiguity of your posts and betting method, upon having a loser.

You can't claim to have backed a 14/1 treble if you backed three horses separately in single bets. Do you agree?
