Honeymoon in march

Getting married in march and hoping to leave around the 18th for honeymoon thinking of going to Canary Islands for maybe a week, is it worth it or will it be too cold? We ideally want a beach holiday where we can just chill out but don't really have the budget for carribean, so were thinkin this and then a few days in Venice to start off/ finish up
Has anyone any reccomendations for short haul with nice weather in march ?

You should have no problem with the weather in March in the Canaries. Normally in low 20s. If you are sticking close to home and want a relaxing sun holiday it is probably a very safe bet. Have a look at Malta as well, weather should be nice and it is a beautiful island.

Thanks! Looked at Malta but in march it's top temp is 17• so it's a little chillier than what we are looking for , is there any one of the Canary Islands that will b hotter than the others?

Think they should be much of a much. I have found Fuerteventura to be windier than the others so that might be worth considering.
