    Hi,
Tomorrow got an interview for part-time literacy teaching position. Currently a volunteer literacy tutor on 1:1 basis. Have a degree in English/Drama and Archaeology.
What kind of questions should I be prepared for?
And what should I bring with me?
    Thanks!

maybe three on panel , maybe senior from programme , senior from organisation or other subject expert and often rep fom the committee . Usually they will have had interview training and follow the same scheme with each candidate. each panel member will ask a question . They ll walk you through your cv. use this time to say what you have done and what you know thats relevant to the position. They ll expect you to know the programme or scheme, typical student , causes of literacy issues , principles of adult ed , personal values etc. You might get a scenario question , how would you deal with ... ?
They ll be wondering can we leave this person with a class , would we want to work with him her , there are categories for qualifications , experience and competency . competency is where you have your chance to shine. nerves are permitted. the days of bullying candidates is over. ask for clarification id you need it. good luck
