Phone Insurance query.

    My sister signed up to o2 billpay about 18 months ago with the Samsung galaxy s2 including insurance.
    Few weeks ago the phone got damaged beyond repair so she sent it off to claim the insurance, she got a phonecall earlier telling her they were gonna replace it with the S3 mini as the S2 is discontinued.
    She aint to happy about it as the S3 mini is an inferior phone in almost all departments.
    Surely she's entitled to the S3 as its the next in line to the S2 but they told her she'd have to fork out an extra €100 for the S3.

    Now surely after paying insurance for 18 months for a top spec phone they should replace it with the next model as the original is discontinued and not a lower spec cheap model.
    Anyone any advice or have similar happen to them?
