Are the Samsung 840's still the best SSD to go for?

    Hello all,

BF4 is taking too long to load and I've fancied an SSD for a while anyway, so that's giving me the push. The Evo 840's from Samsung seem to be the weapon of choice for most, is that still the case? The Crucial's were also pretty well regarded, but the Samsung had beat them on price when I last investigated.

I'll be looking for around 500GB capacity (the 480GB offered by some will be acceptable).

Either the crucial M500 or samsung 840 are the ones to go for if you looking around the 500gb size . The samsung is a little faster and the crucial is a little cheaper . Both are excellent.

Personally i have a 1 TB samsung 840 and its excellent . Loads of space and very fast . The samsung magician software allows you to enter RAPID mode aswell which makes it even faster . Thats why i went with the samsung
