H&M will not deliver to parcel motel

H&M have discounted certain items by 50%, but it appears the other discounts can be applied to items across the site & can also be applied to just a single item in your basket.

Proviso is you'll have to use Parcel Motel, as you can't purchase direct from the Irish site.

As per HUKD, use codes 1304 (£5 off) & 0560 (25% off highest price item in basket).

    Mens 50%:

    Womens:

I've gone for this Herringbone jacket, discounts knock -£17.50 off.

    €48 approx. incl. Parcel Motel

    large]

There are also kids coats like the one below, £13.89 after you apply discounts - just over €20 incl. Parcel Motel.

I bought the other day a blazer and they contacted me after a few days to tell me that forwarding companies are not valid delivery addresses. Maybe I didn't have luck :)

Aw crud, hope that's not the case.

Their shipping page does say this though.
Shipping is only available to UK residential addresses.

That's odd, like throwing away money? It's not like it's any hassle to deliver it.

Maybe they are being safe on the VAT issue.
Difference VAT rates between Ireland and UK and VAT should be payable to ireland in this case
e.g. when you buy on amazon.co.uk but sent to Ireland - VAT goes to Ireland.

Irish stores may not have discounts available so some might buy on the UK store thus impacting their irish outlets with higher prices

I tried this twice to parcel motel and both times they contacted me a few days later and would not process the order :(

They are being pretty safe there seeing as it works for everybody else and I've never heard any company in hot water for it, you can do the same from america with their "parcel motel" services. I'd say they'd make more than any fine or such that they would ever get. Fair enough if they want to be safe though.

By losing money I mean, these will be bought by net savvy people looking for deals anyway, if these type of people are not allowed the deals they don't go into H&M in Ireland and buy the things, they just get nothing. Guess there are two ways to look at it all right.

Order was cancelled today (Parcel Motel delivery), but thankfully managed to re-order (albeit original colour wasn't available, but for an£11 jumper including delivery I'm not going to complain) and have it delivered to the gf in England.

    Thanks OP.

Not sure this should be marking this as expired. I assume NI addresses with valid postcodes would be delivered to? If so, then there are a good few users here who can still order.
